Everyone talks about innovation. But how important is innovation in our country and at PINI? I wanted to find out more by asking the following questions.
Indeed: Our country has topped the Global Innovation Index for several years now. Switzerland's outstanding dual education system, its top universities and its attractive economic conditions are what drives Switzerland's success as an innovative nation. As a small country with no natural resources, the ability to innovate is key to Switzerland's prosperity.
Innovation means using research findings to develop marketable products and services. Cooperation between universities and innovative enterprises is the most important key to success. As an international research institute, CERN contributes significantly in terms of basic research. Its findings are a key enabler for innovation.
As a leading international engineering firm, PINI constantly pursues innovation in order to further develop its services and thus increase customer benefits. In order to achieve this, we need creative, highly qualified employees and good relationships with universities. We also work closely with startups, which are an important source of new innovative ideas.
